This is Miranda from Nana's Scrap Spot taking over my Mom's Blog today to celebrate her birthday!!!!!  

Let me tell you a little about my wonderful Mom!  She is a Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Care Giver, Friend and all around awesome person.  She is my very best friend!  We talk every day and try to see each other as much as possible.  She is AWESOME!  

Some of my Mom's favorite things are......gardening, crafting, vacationing and spending time with family.  She is a florist by trade but doesn't do much of that anymore, mostly for family in her backyard shop.  

A few years back, she had a TIA which put things in perspective for me.  You think your parents are going to be here forever or at least you hope so, right.  But after her health scare, which by the way she made a full recovery, our bond just got stronger.  I make it a point to see her as much as possible and we vacation together; you know a little mother/daughter time!  I LOVE MY MOMMY!!!!!!  And that is the reason I am doing this for her!  Mom, I hope you enjoy your special day!!!!

I'm Back!

Hello!  How are you today!  I would like to thank each and everyone of you for the wonderful comments left on my last post for both me and my daughter.  I'm back for now until my computer decides to give me some more trouble.  LOL

I have three cards to share with you guys today.  All of them are A2 sized and I used the same CTMH stamp set to create them.  I've been having the stamp set a while and never used it, it's called "The Perfect Day".  Of course I colored my images with my Spectrum Noir markers and chalk.  The paper I used is from my scrap box.  I'm still trying to use that up, it seems to be taking over.  My ribbon is from Michael's and the bling and buttons are from Hobby Lobby.

Computer Issues

Hello Everyone, it's Miranda from Nana's Scrap Spot writting up my Mom's post for her today.  Her computer is down and she has been unable to post.  She didn't want you guys to go any longer without seeing her GORGEOUS work.  I love my Mommy, can you tell!  LOL

Her first card is a Christmas card, she is getting a head start on those this year. 

This awesome center step card was made with a stamp from Our Daily Bread.

This beautiful 6X6 card was created with a Stampabilities stamp and colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  The frame was cut from Elegant Edges.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Mary is a member of the ribbon club and receives beautiful ribbon from them each month. 

Mom is hoping to be back posting next week.  But if her computer isn't up and running, I'll be doing that for her.

Weekly Wednesday Post

Hello! How are you!  It's been a little while since my last post.  I've been a bit busy with my family, so not much crafting time.  This past weekend, I was able to get into my craft room and practice my coloring some more.  Here are a couple of cards that I created with the images.

Now onto my card for today.....I created a birthday card to share with you guys today.  Take a look, tell me what you think. 

 

This card was actually rather simple to make.  It's a 5 X 7 card and all of my paper is from Recollections.  I basically matted this gorgeous paper on to my card base to create the card.  The butterfly on the front of my card was cut from the Picturesque Cricut Cartridge and was cut at 1 3/4 inches.  My ribbon is from Walmart and the sentiment is from DRS. 

 

For the inside of the card, I just matted another piece of that gorgeous paper that had a printed butterfly and space to write!

Weekly Wednesday Post

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone had a great Easter.  I'm sorry I missed my last post but I've been a bit under the weather.  My RA was acting up pretty badly and I was having difficulty just holding ribbon to make a bow.  I seem to be doing somewhat better this week.

I have three cards to share with you this week.  I've been coloring again with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.  All of my cards are 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.
