Happy New Year!!!!!

Happy New Year!!!!!
Welcome back to my blog for my Wednesday Weekly Post!!!!
Let's get the personal stuff out of the way first, Bobby is home from the hospital and is doing wellJole' (our fur baby)  is so happy to have him home but still doesn't understand why can't she jump up in his chair with him.  It's been a struggle to keep her down.  LOL  But like me, she is happy to have him home.
I have three cards to share with you today, one made with the Cricut and two without.

My images for this card were cut from Create A Critter.

I used Recollections paper on these cards with some bling and ribbon/twine from my stash.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today and I'll see you next week for another share!!!!  Have a great week my friends!

Surgery Update

Hello Everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  I am just popping in to give you guys a quick update on my husband, Bobby's hip replacement surgery.  The surgery went fine and he is recovering.  He seems to be in a lot of pain but other than that things are great.  Thank you for all the prayers offered for him.  Have a safe and Happy New Year!!!!!

Weekly Wednesday Post

Good Evening!  I'm so happy you stopped in for a visit.  What have you been up to?  Have you finished your Christmas shopping?  Only 5 more days!  Believe it or not, I'm not done yet, I have a few more gifts to go.

So I've decided I'll be posting just once a week to start off with and see how things go.  And I think I'll try Wednesdays since it's the middle of the week.  Did you notice, I have 17 followers!  I am so super excited!  Thanks to all of you that have become followers!

I only have two cards to share with you this week.  First off, I have another Christmas card to show you.

I enjoy coloring so much.  My sweet husband purchased several sets of Spectrum Noir markers for me for Christmas.  Well I got them early so I was able to use them for my fireplace on my card.

The inside........

For my second card, I created a birthday card................

I used Hero Art stamps for my flowers and I colored them with chalk.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today.  I won't be back until after the first of the year due to my husband having a hip replacement on the 27th.  Please keep him in your prayers.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas
and a
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!

O' Christmas Tree

Hello Everyone!  I hope you are having a great day!  Today I am posting my first project on my blog.  I fell in love with this Christmas tree and knew I had to make a card with it.  I've been working on Christmas cards for about 3 weeks now and I still have a few more to make.  No two of them are alike.

For this card, I used the December 25th Cricut cartridge.  My tree was cut at 3 1/2 inches and I put it through my paper crimpper.  I added some stones as ornaments.  My stones and my paper are from Hobby Lobby.  My card is a gatefold card.  My ribbon is from Wal-Mart.  My sentiment is from K Andrew's Winter Wishes.

On the inside I added some Christmas stickers I picked up from Hobby Lobby!

I want to say thank you to all of you that have become followers and thanks so much for stopping by for a visit!
See ya soon,
Mary

Here I go!

So my husband and my daughter (Nana of Nana's Scrap Spot) encouraged me to start this blog.  I am completely new to blogging, I'm more of a follower of blogs.  But here I am trying my hand at this.  I'll be posting slowly at first as I learn my way around blogger and hopefully will get better at it.  LOL

I started paper crafting after going on vacation with my daughter and nieces to Graceland.  I decided I wanted to make a scrapbook.  Well that one scrapbook turned into four scrapbooks of the same trip. LOL  I enjoyed making the scrapbooks so much I couldn't wait to learn more.  I have since then started making cards.  I love stamping and coloring as well as cutting with my Cricut.

I'm hoping to inspire some as I have been inspired.  Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
